Facebook Credits is essentially a virtual currency which users can use to buy virtual goods / services in many games and apps on the Facebook platform.

In the blog post today, Facebook announced that they have added new international payment methods and improved payout workflows for developers using Facebook Credits. Through these improvements, Facebook is now able to support developers in virtually all countries.
From Facebook users perspective, they can purchase Facebook Credits using their credit card, PayPal account or even a mobile phone. To buy Facebook Credits you will have to just go to the Payments tab in your Facebook Account Settings.
