Your computer can speak. Wonder how? Install eSpeak. It lets your computer speak in various kinds of languages. It is a very useful text to speech program. You can listen to any blog you like while doing some other activity. eSpeak can be used on Windows and Linux.

eSpeak has a beautiful and very simple user interface in Linux

Type a text. Choose a language. Click on ‘Play‘. eSpeak reads and speaks the text. The words are highlighted when these are being read. If you do not want to listen to the text, you can stop or pause the talking by using the relevant buttons. It is very simple to use. You can hear your text in any language. eSpeak gives you many options for languages.

It supports various European languages and a list of different English accents. Windows interface is little complicated. It allows you to keep a check over the speed. You can also open various .TXT files.
